Guardian Hot 15 Women

by Lynne Miles // 21 August 2006, 14:54

In answer to the endless 'Loaded' type Hot 100 lists, and mirroring a similar endeavour undertaken in the USA a while ago, the Guardian has been taking nominations for a list of the women who are inspiring the UK. They have published that list today in their Women's section.

The Guardian's 15 most inspiring women in Britain include feminist activists, women working for better treatment of female prisoners, the organiser of the Birds Eye film festival, women working against forced marriage and women fighting for equal rights for homosexual marriages. Each and every one of the women mentioned are an inspiration.
