Fiver received with thanks!

A very belated thanks to Natasha of Feminish, who a few months ago sent me a fiver for The F Word in order to prove the point about putting your money where your mouth is when it comes to supporting feminist causes. She wrote:

“Hello there lovely lasses of the f-word,

“I’d like to put my money where my mouth is, and give a fiver towards the f-word. I wrote a post last week called “Four Fivers”. It’s an update of Virginia Woolf’s Three Guineas. Anyways, I decided feminist blogs like the f-word should get a fiver (I reckon a likely equivalent of a guinea today).

“I can just pop one in an envelope and send it to you. Of course, you can spend it on whatever you want - ice creams and coffees for moral support if it tickles you - anything!

Cheers! Natasha x”

We don’t normally accept money - this site is a labour of love - but on this occassion I accepted and can report that a fiver was duly received. It can go towards paying for the URL.

Thanks Natasha!
