Game developer advertises for "right hand man"

by Jess McCabe // 22 April 2007, 12:41

More evidence if needed of sexism in the games industry comes from this ad, dug out by Wonderland, for a senior producer, which stipulates that applicants must be male.

The £50,000 job is for a games developer in the Midlands, and calls for someone to be the "right hand man" of the director, and lead a team of "three guys".

Unfortunately, the ad doesn't mention the name of the company, or it would be possible to complain. It appears on an industry jobs site. Check out the image on their front page as well. You can complain to the jobs site here.
