The Truth Isn’t Sexy campaign is an initiative aiming to highlight the inhumane and brutal treatment of women who have no other option than to become prostitutes to survive.

Sex trafficking is becoming more prolific, and this group aims to educate the punters about the circumstances from which these young women are trying to escape in the hope of appealing to their better nature, and encouraging them to boycott the industry. Using posters and beer mats, supporters are targeting pubs, watering holes and any other places where this could have an impact, with the next day of distribution throughout central London scheduled for Saturday May 19th, beginning at 11a.m.

If you are unable to make that day, but would still like to help the campaign, you can make a donation to contribute to the cost of printing posters and beer mats, which would be very much appreciated. For more information about how to get involved or to RSVP for the distribution day, contact Aimie Littler, Director of The Truth Isn’t Sexy campaign, by e-mailing shopkins3@mac.com.
