Anthology to raise awareness on violence against women

Remember Khalil Aswad? She was the 17 year old Kurdish girl stoned to death in Iraq for her relationship with a Sunni Muslim boy. Her death was videoed and circulated on the internet, prompting shocked responses from right-thinking individuals such as Buffy creator Joss Whedon.
He put together a video response to this crime. Now a group of US activists are asking for submissions for an anthology in response to Khalil's death, and violence against women in general.
Profits from the sale of Nothing But Red will go to charity, most likely Equality Now. The anthology will be designed to "create awareness, promote equality, and to be constructive".
The title, says Broadsheet, was taken from Whedon's speech:
"Because it's no longer enough to be a decent person. It's no longer enough to shake our heads and make concerned grimaces at the news. True enlightened activism is the only thing that can save humanity from itself. I've always had a bent towards apocalyptic fiction, and I'm beginning to understand why. I look and I see the earth in flames. Her face," he wrote, referring to the video images of the girl's murder, "was nothing but red."
