PS2 - for panty-sniffers?

by Jess McCabe // 26 August 2007, 10:00

As regular readers know, you can always count on Sony to come up with a truly offensive advert for the PlayStation. Well, AdsoftheWorld.com has dug out some more examples in this genre, this time advertising the PS2 with... men sniffing underwear.

For non-game geeks, the knickers are arranged like the buttons on the PlayStation's controller. On AdsoftheWorld.com, one commenter speculated that this was an ad for last year's pink PS2, which was designed to reflect "the growing and diverse demographic that PlayStation 2 has developed".

Which is kind of a confusing message: here, girls, have a pink PS2. It's for panty-sniffers? It'll turn you into a panty-sniffer?
