Is prostitution a valid career choice?

Today’s Guardian has published responses and opinions from lots of distinguished media types about the forthcoming TV adaptation of Belle de Jour and about prostitution in general.

I was going to provide a few choice quotes, but it’s all so interesting I felt like quoting the entire thing.
