Should married women change their surnames?

I have a piece today over on Comment is Free on the subject of keeping surnames following marriage. I think it's an interesting issue considering the controversy surrounding Chery Cole (nee Tweedy's) recent tatoo, (written about by the lovely Jess McCabe here) and Sarah Michelle Prinze (nee Geller's) decision to change her surname as a "gift" to her husband (also written about by Jess here).
