More Joss Whedon

Fans of Joss Whedon rejoice! According to AfterEllen.com, Whedon is working on a comic book follow up to his space Western series Firefly.
The comic is scheduled to hit the shelves of comic shops in March 2008, and will be set in the period between the end of the one-season series Firefly, and the movie Serenity.
As with his more famous creation, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Firefly/Serenity universe is full of interesting, complex, fully-formed female characters. Which, as we all know, is something of a rarity.
