The failings of the feminist blogosphere

Everyone has failings, and one of the major problems to be seen in the feminist blogosphere has been manifestations of forms of prejudice, such as racism, classism, transphobia and (perhaps to a lesser extent) homophobia.

In the first episode of a new video blog (vlog), Sudy from A Womyn's Ecdysis gives some sobering extracts from feminist blogs and comments. Essential viewing:

I don't really have anything useful to add, except that of course it's really sad and we try really hard not to fall into those kinds of traps at The F Word, but we really appreciate it when you let us know we got it wrong.
