Wanna make feminism No1 in the Charts?

by Louise Livesey // 17 December 2007, 13:07

The organisation Tender has come up with a novel new way of making domestic violence a national issue. They are releasing a single in January and aim to top the charts with it. The single, "Let It Be Mine", by Daniel Rachel is released on January 14th and you can pledge your support here. You can buy the song from iTunes from it's release or pre-order the single from Amazon whilst also supporting the F Word!

This is the song, and it's actually quite good.

Of course we can debate why it's sung by a male vocalist and not a female one and all that but, for once, lets just get behind actually making domestic violence a visible issue and supporting an unusual and creative feminist campaign!
