New Scientists reveals sexism in research publishing

According to a story in the Jan 18th edition female scientists are less likely to be published if the peer reviewers know they are female. Gender, nationality and nepotism have also been implicated in decisions for research fellowships. It’s based on empirical research too - so all those academics out there sexism is alive and well….
