The shop

Over at Mind the Gap, vibracobra has pointed out that a DVD that - from Amazon's description - I would characterise as grotesque and vile, has popped up on The F Word bookshop.
I would just like to reassure readers that we did not put it there - it seems to have come from the 'similar items' section of the shop. When you click on those items, it looks like they appear in The F Word store, but we have not added them and do not control what is displayed. Up until now, this has not been a problem because, as the name suggests, Amazon generally just pulls up similar items to those we have chosen. I have no idea how Amazon made the leap from anything we added to the shop to 'The Vice Guide to Travel'.
We are looking into this, and I will post again when I know more.

To the fantastic people at the F word,
Another book you could add to the feminist book shop is: 'In the name of Honour' by Mukhtar Mai. A Pakistani woman's tribal rape ordeal and her ongoing fight for women's rights. A good global perspective (not about polarising black or white feminism); an earthy and inspiring read.
