Map of “state-sponsored homophobia”
By Jess McCabe | 8 April 2008, 14:55
The ILGA has produced a map of state-sponsored homophobia, and a “world survey of laws prohibiting same sex activity between consenting adults”, to mark its 30th anniversary.
You can see the map here in English, but it is also available in Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Wow, this is interesting. I really didn't think you could be murdered for being gay in some countries... whoa. Still, in the UK it was imprisonment till the 60s, kind of the same time abortion laws were passed. We've got a long way to go, but I'm glad we've come at least as far as we have since the 60s.
