23rd May - benefit to support Million Women Rise

Remember Million Women Rise? Well, yes, you probably do as it was less than two months ago. But organising a massive march on the capital takes time, and the women behind the project are already gearing up for next year.

As part of that, they are holding a benefit party at SW!TCH at the Rush Bar on Frith Street, on 23rd of May.

From the MySpace page:

SWITCH is an LBGT club night in aid of raising money FOR CHARITIES The next night of fun is for to provide funding for MILLION WOMEN RISE. Thousands of women and young girls suffer from all kinds of violence.. and IT HAS TO BE STOPPED. Please help support this cause by doing your bit for charity and world issue awareness whilst having fun! ALL money raised goes to the MILLION WOMEN RISE awareness project. Switch will be playing only the very BEST in RnB, Old Skool, Hip Hop, Dance, Reggaeton and Bhangra Tunes! DJ SAIRA will be on the decks with music YOU request. Please send PMs or join the group for any song requests and they are guaranteed to be played.
