Addicted to Race is back!

by Jess McCabe // 11 June 2008, 00:46

Just a quick post to note that the brilliant Addicted to Race podcast is back, after a long hiatus.

Since the relaunch, the podcast has already dealt with issues of particular relevance to feminists, including race and gender in the Harold and Kumar films and gender in hiphop (although the section on media coverage of the Myanmar disaster is particularly stand-out).

But Carmen has also launched a premium podcast, which will alternate with the regular free episodes. I've signed up - it's not going to be something everyone can or wants to do, but I personally think that it's going to be well worth it, based on the existing content.

I also think it's important to support the efforts of activists to be compensated for this kind of work.
