According to this story in Prensa Libre, eight out of 10 Central American women migrants are raped en route to North America.
Según el último informe del Foro de Migraciones, elaborado este año, ocho de cada 10 centroamericanas que ingresan por la frontera sur de México, son violadas, sin importar si son niñas, adolescentes o mujeres de edad avanzada. Entre ellas, existe un alto porcentaje de guatemaltecas.

According to the latest report from the Burea of Migration, drafted this year, 8 out of 10 central american women attempting to cross the southern border of Mexico will be raped, whether girls, adolescents or elderly women. Among them, a high percentage will be Guatemalan women.
