McCain: Women’s “Health” No Excuse For Abortion.

Try getting a damn uterus and hitting us with that again, John. Hint: not wanting to sacrifice my life for something that hasn’t even been born into this world yet is not an “extreme” position.

Disgusting.

(Obama states that he would only support a ban on late term abortion if provision were made for the “life and health of the mother”. McCain responds:

‘Just again an example of the eloquence of Senator Obama, his “health” [air quotes] of the mother. That’s been stretched by the pro-abortion movement in America to mean almost anything, that’s the extreme pro-abortion position “quote” health.’)

So she can go blind? Have a forced hysterectomy? Be paralysed? I mean I really wonder what senator McCain's definition of a serious enough health condition to warrant late term abortion would be and frankly that should be a decision for a woman to make with her physician not for a white, well off, enormously privileged & medically ignorant man.

There is no pro-abortion movement anywhere. No one I have ever met who claimed to be pro-choice was all for advocating abortion. They have always said in an ideal world it wouldn't be necessary. But this is far from an ideal world.

Dishonest to play these semantic games.

I loathe McCain, at least there is some comfort in the fact he is losing.

It pisses me off no end that Obama co-operates in using the term 'partial-birth abortion'. That's just a misleading term coined by anti-choicers to make D+E abortion, which is almost always carried out to save a woman's life, sound like straightforward infanticide. I am so annoyed Obama uses that phrase.

And yes, McCain is just an arsehole here. I want to feed him his teeth.

ya, you're right. its DEFINATELY disgusting that you refer to that human being as a "thing" and would rather deprive an innocent human being at a chance of life for your own personal benefits.

a life for a life, eh?

real classy.

Yes, Alaine, a bundle of cells / unfeeling half formed being is exactly the same as a living woman. Bye, now.
