Sexual Assault Referral Centre charges premium rates for helpline.

The Telegraph reports that a government-funded Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Gloucester has been making victims phone an 0845 helpline number for advice on dealing with their experience:
Mobile users and callers from BT payphones will have to pay up to 20 pence per minute extra over the cost of a call to a normal number.
Jacqui Smith has promised to crack down on centres which continue with this practice - here’s hoping she gets shimmy on, because it’s quite frankly disgusting.
