Il Corpo Delle Donne
By Jess McCabe | 31 May 2009, 21:30
Il Corpo Delle Donne is a documentary about the representation of women on Italian TV.
It focuses on how women become decorative props on TV shows and the reluctance of the Italian media to show older women, unless they’ve had botox/plastic surgery and is well worth a watch.
You can see it with English subtitles here.

I found this documentary really hard hitting and intend to forward it to all my non activist female friends. It's an extremely frightening piece and I hope it will galvanise some of my friends into action.
