What is The Hackney Million Mothers March?

Hackney mothers have come together to hold a Million Mother March in Hackney to celebrate our children and young people and stand up against the growing gun, knife and gang crime in our lives.

When and where is The Hackney Million Mothers March?

Join us from 1.30pm on Sunday, 23 August 2009 at Bradbury Street N16 8JN, next to Gillet Square in Dalston.

We will leave at 2.30pm and walk down Kingsland Road, right onto Dalston Lane and across to Graham Road.

At Mare Street, we will turn left onto The Narrow Way into the back of St John’s Church.

In the churchyard at St John’s, we will hear from local mothers in Hackney. A map of the route is below.
