Just a quick post - England’s women footballers are playing the Netherlands in the first semi-final of the Euro 2009 tournament. Times Online are running live text commentary (by me!) if you want to pop along and see what’s happening.
Have your say

I just heard an interview on Radio 4 in which the male presenter said to one of the women: "The men's team play like big girls' blouses, and you play like gentlemen"
Interesting choice of words there!

Nice commentary and a good result!
Good to see that the match has had a reasonable amount of press coverage (at least in terms of the limited amount I have seen so far) - lead story on the BBC Football website last night, and it was the first thing I heard when I switched on the radio this morning. Obviously nothing like the vast quantity given to the England men's team, but a step in the right direction?
