Grace Ndiritu is doing a talk on 12 March at the Tate Britain:
Artist Grace Ndiritu works at the intersection of film and performance. This talk uses performance video art using the female body from her Still Life and Responsible Tourism series to dialogue with paintings from the Orientalism movement and Henri Matisse, examining how these works influenced Western ideas of Africa and women in the late nineteenth century.Tate Britain Duffield Room
