Women's Rugby World Cup under way

by Carrie Dunn // 25 August 2010, 18:32

Just to let you know that the Rugby World Cup is under way (in London/Surrey area as well, so you can get along if you want!). Wales are in Pool A; England and Ireland in Pool B; Scotland in Pool C - this is the initial stage prior to the knock-out part of the competition.

To find out more, get along to the RFU website, and do go to one or more of the matches if you're in the area - Sky Sports are even showing some of the games live!

Many years ago I knew a woman who played rugby. She was slightly built and said she often had to convince her GP that the bruises were NOT because she was being beaten up by a boyfriend. At least the GP took the possibility seriously.
