It's our weekly open thread and round-up of all the things that fell through the blogging net. Please do add your own links or chat away in comments.

Also, I've not read through all these stories, some may be triggering for some readers. Use caution.

How interesting. The one and only link to the non-news about "Porn Block" and it doesn't contain a word about women. Plenty of arguments about how it couldn't work, though. Immensely useful, by the way. There's clearly not enough people in the internet opposing this non-block. /sarcasm.

This guardian obit contains rather more details on Pickles' more objectional actions, but may be more triggering: http://www.guardian.co.uk/law/2010/dec/22/james-pickles-obituary

Own your responsibility for the content of the website you edit. Plausible deniability is bunk.

Hi, I just saw from wordpress that you linked to one of my comics (Gemini: the webcomic about living plural) and wanted to say thanks!
Some interesting links here, I may have to start following this blog, though I'm not from the UK!

I'm catching up on my blog reading, and I cannot believe I am just now noticing your link to my blog!
I am glad so many other people are enjoying this Daft Punk tribute as much as I am (still)!
Cheers :)
