New review: The Carbon Diaries 2017

Less well-known are the Carbon Diaries books, which also detail the political awakening of a teenage girl amidst the revolutionary turmoil of a dystopian future. Ananya Wilson-Bhattacharya reviews the second instalment - The Carbon Diaries 2017 - and argues that it communicates a more powerful and positive feminist ethic than many of its more popular Young Adult counterparts.
