Daria and her animated friend Jane are the absoulute personifications of sarcasm, and the kind of girls I wish I knew at school. Surrounded by cheerleaders, squeaky-voiced bimbos, the ‘Fashion Club’, jocks and jerks, they remain ever scornful and singularly unimpressed. Fantastic.
