The Feminist Library needs you!

The Feminist Library is a gigantic collection of feminist books, magazines and more tucked away in Elephant and Castle. We’re in dire straits, and need enthusiastic volunteers to help keep us going and preserve our record of your history.

Looking for a way to get more involved? Interested in books? Interested in feminism?

Every Monday evening from 6pm, we have an open door session for women who want to volunteer. Just come along, we’ve got plenty for you to do! We’re also really keen for volunteers who can come in during the day, and help us open to visitors. If you are interested in volunteering but can’t make a Monday meeting, email me on: [email protected]

If you want to get more involved, we’re looking for people to join the management committee. Whether you’ve got experience or enthusiasm or both, come along to the next meeting on Wednesday November 9, 6pm at the library, and see if you can help us out. Anyone wanting to help out with the library’s newsletter should also come to this meeting, or email me ([email protected]). We’re looking for writers, artists and anyone who can help out with production.
