Louise Livesey // 25 September 2007
The Scotsman reports today on research published in the Journal of Medical Education which shows that women doctors seeking the top of their profession (academic research) are still facing workforce practices detrimental to their careers. And only 10% of medical clinical professors are women – in 2004-5 a total of 207 men became clinical professors compared to (yes wait for it) 6 women.
