Suzuki Swift – ‘the panty dropper’

// 15 March 2008

Who thought that “panty dropper” was a good idea for a campaign to sell cars? As you can tell from this photo, the answer is Suzuki.

In the Dominican Republic, the company marketed one of its cars by putting them in malls, alongside mannequins from “popular boutiques”. With knickers around their ankles.

You can find more information on this campaign at Ew.

“only the core target would decipher”…? It’s remarkably easy to ‘decipher’, it’s just amazingly idiotic, unless the core target are idiots who manage to ‘decipher’ something other than a sexist piece of trash of a style that should have been confined to antiquity some time ago.
