Our comments round-up for your feedback on January features and reviews is up now, ready for your perusal.

Massive thanks once again to Helen G for compiling and coding all the comments; and like last month, the delay in getting them to you is mine not hers!

Our interesting feature from the archive this month is Megan’s piece arguing teenagers deserve the same autonomy over their bodies and the same access to contraception as adults. When she wrote the piece back in 2004, Megan was in school, and their board of governors had just voted to allow all girls access to the morning after pill.

wow, who knew George Orwell was so Right-wing? And alive? You learn something new everyday

George Orwell lives! Woo-hoo. George, can we expect another groundbreaking zeitgeisty novel from you? Is it true you were a spy in Madrid during the Spanish Civil War? What have you been doing all these years? Did you go weird like J.D. Salinger and lock up all your manuscripts? Or do you just like to stroll around English country lanes after a good lunch?

Yes George, please call back soon. Anymore dystopia based works of genius on the way? And do you feel healthcare in france has improved since your essay on the subject? Dying to know!

Elmo, yeah! AND – how about if George did a tv documentary retracing his “Down and Out in Paris and London” journey and see how things have changed since? That’d be a real winner.

Enuff of me already!
