A 10k run for women of the Congo will be taking place in Regent’s Park, London on Sunday 3 July. It is curated by Women for Women and all of the money raised will go directly to their programmes in Congo.

Rebecca Parnell has more:

“….So far our fantastic supporters have raised over £77,000 – enough to provide 516 women with Life Skills Training. However there is always room for more! If you’re interested in helping the women of the Congo rebuild their lives and support themselves and their families, it’s not too late to get involved.

100% of the money our supporters have raised will go directly to our programmes in the Congo, which provide emotional and physical support for rape and abuse victims, and assist vulnerable women in creating sustainable futures for themselves and their children.”
