I’ve been a uncharacteristically quiet on The F-Word blog recently, and the reason is I’m guest blogging for one of my favourite magazines of all time, Bitch. Writing for Bitch has been one of those things I’ve aspired to do basically since I first got my hands on a copy.

Bitch is in trouble and needs to get 1,500 new subscribers in order to remain a print magazine. They’re about half way to that goal as of time of writing this post.

This is just a bat signal for readers in the UK: if you want Bitch to stay in print, and have the means, now is a good time to subscribe or renew your subscription.

Also! I’m half way through my guest blogging stint at Bitch now. If you’re keen to catch up on my Murder, She Blogged series, here are my posts so far:

Murder, She Blogged: Why Detectives?

Murder, She Blogged: The First Female Detectives?

Murder, She Blogged: Class and Fashion in Miss Marple

Murder, She Blogged: Retrosexism in Life on Mars and LA Noire

Murder, She Blogged: Let’s Celebrate the Spinster Detective

Murder, She Blogged: About the US Killing

Murder, She Blogged: Lund

Murder, She Blogged: Castle

Murder, She Blogged: Detectives in Distress

Murder, She Blogged: Prime Suspect

Murder, She Blogged: Mrs. Columbo

Jess, your posts at Bitch are fantastic! What a neat idea all around. And thanks to you I’ll subscribe to Bitch (I let mine lapse a couple of years back).
