Free Art Workshop for the Manchester Pride Parade

Do you want to be involved in the PRIDE parade and march for refugees and asylum seekers?
Freedom from Torture and the Lesbian Immigration Support Group (LISG) will be marching to raise awareness of the persecution that lesbian and gay individuals face in other parts of the world, and asking you to join us to give asylum seekers and refugees a voice in the UK.
FREE art workshop, Saturday 20th August, from 12pm
to create a couple of banners and other colourful items for our parade entry, led by visual artist Sabbi Kaur (visit: www.sabbikaur.co.uk).
At the Green Fish Resource Centre, 46-50 Oldham St., Manchester, M4 1LE

A light lunch will be provided.
Pride Parade, Saturday 27th August, 12.30-4pm
We need as many people as possible to walk with us for the Pride Parade; the more of us there are the bigger the impact it will have! Please join us if you can and invite your friends and family.
