Win Tickets to the International Women’s Day Celebrations at BFI Southbank, 8th March

The BFI Southbank are offering The F-Word readers the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to Bird’s Eye View‘s International Women’s Day Gala, a high-profile showcase of the best of new and international short films by women. We are also delighted to announce Romola Garai (Atonement, The Hour) and screenwriter Abi Morgan (Shame, The Iron Lady) as our very special guest speakers to open the Gala. This will be followed by an afterparty with free cocktails!

BEV’s International Women’s Day Gala is a high-profile showcase of the best of new and international short films by women, from captivating Moroccan folklore to camp Norwegian musical, plus gripping dramatised true story The Red Virgin starring Maribel Verdú (Y Tu Mama Tabien, Pan’s Labyrinth) and comic animation from emerging award-winner Kristen Lepore. Guest speakers include writer-director Sally El Hosaini (My Brother The Devil – Sundance & Berlin 2012) and screenwriter Moira Buffini (Tamara Drewe, Jane Eyre).
