The Stuart Hall Library and the South West London and Surrey Zine Collective launch a new exhibition of zines on Saturday 6 October, 1-4pm

The Stuart Hall Library hosts an exhibition of zines from the Stuart Hall Library collection curated by Fliss Collier of the South West London and Surrey Zine Collective.

Fliss will provide an introduction to the exhibition at the launch event and will discuss her involvement in writing and distributing zines with Sonia Hope, Library Manager.

The library will also host a zine swap – bring your own zines and exchange them for others.

The exhibition runs from 6 October-21 December 2012.

Places at the launch event are free, but limited.

Contact to book a place.

The Stuart Hall library is also issuing a call out for zines, so please do get in touch with them if you’d like to donate your zine to the collection. They are looking for zines relating to cultural diversity, race, ethnicity,

gender and sexuality, as well as personal/political/arts based zines for their reading collection.

Find out how you can donate your publication here

The exhibition is also seeking more zines to include in their zine swap box, if you would like to donate,

please get in touch with the SW & Surrey Zine Collective via their website.
