Via Jane at What The Frock!:

What The Frock logoWhat started as a one-off point-proving exercise in May has now more than proved its point and become an established event. The third What The Frock! comedy night will be at the Winston Theatre, Bristol University Student Union, on September 15.

What The Frock! was created in response to the scarcity of women comedians at Bristol venues, and both previous gigs have sold out.

The September 15 gig will be headlined by multi award-winner Danielle Ward, and compered by WTF! 1 host Kate Smurthwaite – who is seemingly never off our TVs and radios. We also have the inimitable Bethany Black (“Britain’s only lesbian, goth, transexual comedian”), and Bristol’s own Angie Belcher. The gig is the evening entertainment for the UK Feminista Summer School, which this year is held in Bristol. There will also be a charity raffle on the night supporting One25.

Tickets are on sale now priced £7 for UK Feminista attendees (we will be checking your UK Feminista wristbands on the door), and £10 for everybody else. And absolutely everybody is welcome, regardless of gender or whether or not you’re attending UK Feminista.

Accessibility: The venue is fully accessible. Although the event is on the first floor, there is a large lift. There will also be a hearing aid loop.
