New review: Gabriel Weston’s Dirty Work
Jolene Tan // 25 July 2013
Gabriel Weston’s provocatively titled Dirty Work centres on the professional crisis faced by an abortion provider with a conflicted and complex relationship to her work. Katherine Williams reviews the audiobook version of the novel and finds it a humanising, sensitive look at how one doctor experiences the procedure at the heart of so much – often excessively abstracted – political controversy.
