Radical feminist romantic comedy – trailer!

Is Itty Bitty Titty Committee the first romantic comedy about radical feminists? Possibly not, but it’s the first I’ve heard of. Check out the trailer below:

IBTC is directed by Jamie Babbit, of ‘But I’m A Cheerleader’, which I haven’t seen, but also episodes of such woman-friendly shows as Gilmore Girls, Alias and Ugly Betty.

It’s produced by Andrea Sperling, of POWER UP!, the Professional Organization of Women in Entertainment Reaching UP!, who had this to say about the film:

“The story we wanted to tell was about a young girl who finds her purpose in life after she hooks up with a radical feminist underground group,” Sperling explains, “Of course she finds love along the way and that’s just part of her journey, it’s a romantic comedy too.”
